Well, I was planning on writing a post about Manzanar with some solemn pictures, but my MacBook umm… bit it last night. Hopefully it will come back to life soon.

have you seen the stuff online about how apple says to put thermal paste on like someone buttering bread? and if you open your machine up and wipe it off and put it on like a sane person, the average temp goes down like 20 degrees C?
Dude…you have applecare, right? So they’ll send a frigging super geek from cupertino by private biplane to parachute into your house and replace the motherboard within 24 minutes?
Well this is probably just a ploy to get an even newer laptop.

Ethan Yeah it’s still under warranty but no I didn’t get apple care. I’m just glad that USC calls their repair center a computer service center (apple certified) and not a genius bar. The idea of waiting at a “genius bar” makes me want to drink whiskey and fight geniuses.
