“innovative IDM” is funny… they should just somehow add “super awesome” to fill out the genre name.
Clearly my first techno album will be file under SDM (or DDM) … I have a drum machine, so don’t tempt me. You should check out sonic death rabbit though. Insane gamboy + technics + female death metal vocals.
I want to clarify that we went to the High on Fire show at Alex’s bar that night (not Rich) which helps to explain why we were so extremist in our “never having less desire to go to a show” (which I firmly stand behind).

BTW, TL makes a valid argument IMO for High on Fire being the Pixies of the metal world (they appeal to all the tribes of metal in the same way that the Pixies united all the Alt-rock tribes).
