Unpopable

Finally got a chance to see unpopable at Mr. T’s Bowl. Really amazing. If you have never seen or heard a balloon bass played by it’s inventor Addi Somekh you are missing out on a great experience. They have a very good vibe going with just (balloon) bass and guitar.
Also, I was given a flyer for a ‘lingerie night’ by a female bartender there. It had a website link on it, I went to said website, and thought to myself: “Why now, really, would she think I would be a lingerie shopper? Should I be?”
I’m thinking no, but … well, no.
Also, there is a Honduran place at Adams and Raymond that is good. I biked there in some insane wind… ran over a fallen palm frond on the way back. That’s is as LA (minus the bike riding) as seeing a license plate that says URSO LA. Which, incidentally, I did see today.
