Rich Seymour’s stochastic statements.

My man Ethan called me astute in his blog. So I have to give him props for following his dreams. Dreams he had while drunk, hence he works at a winery (Ravenswood). No, he wasn’t really drunk when he thought about getting into the wine business. But while we are shouting out blog friends, what about Trudy’s ephemeroi. It’s more like a blog (unsleeping), an event list (windchill) and then other stuff. She and her crew know more about what’s hep and happenin’ (or at least has free drinks) in new york than anyone. If I found a site this elite covering LA I would be pretty psyched, especially if I had free time and money.

But I don’t. Heck, I don’t even have a working car right now.

My vacation in my hometown of Jamestown, NY was a riot. The band The Audience of Jamestown ripped it up with 3 shows. They need to get their CD finished so all y’all can hear them in all of their glory. I recorded one of those shows on my 4 track, I’ll try to get some mp3s up soon. Saw a million people, missed a few good friends, but made up for it with folks I hadn’t seen in over 5 years. I feel really lucky to be able to go home and see so many people I grew up with, regardless of whether they live there now or not.
