I was a graduate student at the University of Southern California at the Collaboratory for Advanced Computing and Simulation. They do research simulating materials at the atomic scale on big computer clusters.

I graduated with a PhD in Materials Science and a Masters in Computer Science. Now I'm working at Arete Associates as a staff scientist.

In addition I write songs, play in bands and mess around with electronics.
